To help achieve its ambition of achieving national and international recognition for excellence in business education, the Lundquist College of Business maintains connections with the business world through three advisory groups: the Board of Advisers, the Business Advisory Council, and the Emerging Leaders Council.
The Board of Advisers comprises senior business leaders with national stature who advise the dean in matters of strategy and future directions. The Emerging Leaders Council consist of undergraduate and graduate alumni who have been out of school for 10 years or less. This council provides direct and detailed input about the college’s programs, curriculum, and student job placement after graduation. Complementing the college’s EXPERIENCE LEADERSHIP strategy, the Business Advisory Council serves as an important link to the business community for enabling and fostering experiential learning opportunities for students.
Members of all three groups also serve as advocates for the college and provide advice on issues of importance. They represent businesses from throughout the United States and several foreign countries.
