Some of the best opportunities for learning are actually off campus. With E-Venture Road Trips, we take our students out of
the classroom and expose them to all kinds of "real world" entrepreneurial events and activities.
One example is "Pubtalks," a monthly event held in Portland by the Oregon
Entrepreneurs Forum. At Pubtalks, entrepreneurs from all over the Willamette Valley gather at a local watering hole for
pizza, beer and networking. It is a great non-traditional experience that gives our students a taste of what's happening in
today's business world.
Our goal for E-Venture is to eventually hit the "Interstate-5 corridor" regularly for trips to Portland, Seattle,
the Bay Area, and Southern California. In time, we hope these trips will take us farther off the beaten path into other areas
of the country.
