John Dimmer has become an “institution” in the Lundquist Center for Entrepreneurship's (LCE) arsenal of high-energy and successful business executives that visit the campus for the Entrepreneur on Campus Program. Designed to connect successful entrepreneurs with students and faculty, for the 4 th year in a row, John again spent 3 busy days visiting campus and meeting with students on November 5-7, 2007.
John’s interactions included class presentations in Entrepreneurial Accounting, (ACTG 340) Launching New Ventures (Management 335), New Venture Planning (Management 625), and the Entrepreneurship Seminar (Management 607), and a round-table with the undergraduate Entrepreneurship Club.
John’s stamina was tested by meetings with all eight M.B.A. New Venture Planning teams, two undergraduate venture teams, lunch with the M.B.A. Student Advisory Board and the LCE staff, and dinner with the Entrepreneurship Club officers.
Reaction and comments from all participants has been resoundingly positive with a unanimous recommendation to bring John back again next year.
