The Honors Program

[Photo] The Honors Program provides challenging, stimulating and enriching opportunities for study. A small peer group of 30 - 35 dedicated and motivated students are accepted into the program each year. Working together with a select group of teachers, these students take classes that have been specifically designed for the Honors Program. The required core classes in the Lundquist College of Business that have been designed for the Honors Program include:

  • Marketing Management (Marketing 311)
  • Economic Foundations of Competitive Analysis (Finance 311) **
  • Financial Management (Finance 316)
  • Management and Organizational Behavior (Management 321)
  • Business Statistics (Decision Sciences 330)
  • Concepts of Production and Operations Management (Decision Sciences 335)
  • Business Information Systems (Decision Sciences 340)
  • Business Leadership (BA 352)
  • Business Strategies for Global Competitiveness (BA 453)

** NOTE: You cannot get credit for both FIN 311 and ECON 311. If you are considering the Honors Program, do not take ECON 311.

After completion of the required business core classes, honors students choose their individual field of study from the general business curriculum.

Information. Knowledge. Ideas. The Honors Program encourages you to strive for excellence and provides the keys to advance confidently toward your dreams.
