MGMT 415--Human Resource Management

Professor Weinstein

All managers must be human resource (HR) managers if they hope to succeed in managing people. An understanding of the fundamentals of HRM is essential for managers, regardless of their particular career. This course fulfills this need by exploring the strategic role of HRM in enhancing the competitiveness of contemporary organizations. Topics include employee staffing, training and development, employment law, compensation and rewards, managing diversity, and labor-management relations. Required for the HRM Career Track.
