Developing your interviewing skills:
transparent
basicstransparent transparent For the basics, review our Step 4: Interviewing booklet. Additional in-depth information is available in the LCB Career Services Library. Titles of resources include: How to Say It in the Job Search, Mastering the Job Interview, Vault Guide to Finance Interviews. Please note: books are available for use in the Career Service's office only.

transparent   Advisors are available to meet with you individually to help you prepare for your interview. In addition to discussing strategies, take advantage of videotaping a practice interview. These appointments are one hour and include a question/answer period as well as watching your video with the advisor for feedback. Note: Although dressing up for the interview isn't required, it is a great way to make the interview feel more authentic.

workshops   Interviewing workshops are available. See the events calendar for more information.

Are you wary of being videotaped for your practice interview?
Many students are a bit nervous, but overwhelmingly agree that it is very helpful in order to understand their interviewing strengths and weaknesses!
