MASTER OF ACCOUNTING PROGRAM
The University of Oregon's Master of Accounting degree program (MAcc) at the Lundquist College of Business helps each student develop professional knowledge and skills foundational to an accounting career. Although the courses you take are at the center of the experience, they are part of an integrated set of activities, experiences, and resources that help you reach, discover, and achieve your potential.
REACH
So much a part of any profession is putting yourself out there to try new things and stretch yourself. The accounting profession is no different and the teamwork aspect of the MAcc program helps you learn how to relate to all of your other classmates and to work together. Through collegial interactions and activities, you'll reach within yourself to uncover things you thought you could never do and then do it.
DISCOVER
The faculty and staff of the college endeavor to provide personalized service and care for each student. We have carefully crafted required and elective accounting courses to provide students with the opportunity to deepen their understandings of the most current accounting theory and practice including fair value and International Financial Reporting Standards (IFRS), corporate taxation, pass-through entity taxation, cost management, and auditing. Students also sharpen critical thinking, teamwork, and communication skills in these courses and in the nonaccounting electives, discovering and exploring new ways to approach and solve accounting and business challenges.
