Branding Athletes in a Digital Age going for gold


The James H. Warsaw Sports Marketing Center at the University of Oregon is pleased to announce the 17th Annual Women in Sports Business Symposium (WSBS). WSBC will be held on April 18, 2013 in Portland, Oregon. This annual event provides a forum for students and practitioners to connect and discuss current industry topics and trends. This year’s event will focus on marketing athletes in a digital age. Throughout the evening, attendees will hear from noteworthy experts in the sports industry including David Higdon, Managing Director of Integrated Marketing Communications for NASCAR, and members of the espnW team. In the past, this panel discussion has featured distinguished guests such as Bea Perez (CMO of Coca-Cola), Sue Rodin (Founder of Women in Sports Events) and Illana Kloss (CEO of World Team Tennis).
