In order to review your application it must be complete. An application is not considered complete until all of the materials listed below have been received. You will receive an email confirmation once your application is complete.

Admission notification is usually 30-45 days AFTER file completion.

 

A completed application consists of:

1.

Online Oregon MBA Intelliworks Departmental Application

The Oregon MBA Intelliworks Departmental Application provides additional information that is needed to complete your application for the Lundquist College of Business masters program.

UO Graduate Admission Online Application and non-refundable $50.00 application fee

UO online Graduate Admission Application. The UO Graduate application requires a different login and password from the Intelliworks application.

The major to select is: General Business – Oregon MBA

Oregon MBA applicants need to apply for FALL term admission. Only ‘Accelerated’ Oregon MBA applicants may apply to Winter or Spring term.

Applicants will be required to pay the non-refundable $50.00 application fee at the time the UO Graduate Admission Online Application is submitted.

Three (3) 500-word essays (access essay questions and submit online via Intelliworks – do NOT mail duplicate paper copies)

Two recommendations (Register recommenders online via Intelliworks)

After you register your recommenders online via Intelliworks, your recommenders will be automatically directed to a recommendation website linked to your application. At least one of the recommendations should come from an employer. (No relatives, family friends, or clergy, please.)
You can submit your Intelliworks application BEFORE your recommendations have been received.

Up-to-date resume (submit online via Intelliworks – do NOT mail duplicate paper copies)

Official GMAT score report

Pearson/VUE institutional code for the Oregon MBA: KSQ-5N-27.  Note:  GMAT scores are only valid for five (5) years.

If you have already taken the GMAT exam, but did not list the UO Lundquist College of Business as a participating school to have access to your online official score report, you will need to contact GMAT in order to add our school to the list of participating schools who can access your report.

ONE (1) set of official transcripts. Submit to the UO Office of Admissions ONE (1) original transcript from each college or university where you received a bachelor’s degree and all subsequent degrees to:

Official Electronic Transcripts. Official electronic transcripts should be sent to: registrar@uoregon.edu

Degree Certificate. If your awarded degree is not posted on the transcript, as is the case with most international transcripts, you will need to include the related degree certificate with your transcript.

UO Transcripts. If you attended or are currently attending the University of Oregon, you do not need to send your University of Oregon transcript to the UO Office of Admissions.

Degree in progress. If you are presently pursuing a degree which you anticipate will be awarded AFTER your application is submitted, please submit an official in-progress transcript and then an additional official transcript showing the degree posted once the degree has been awarded.

In addition to the above, all international applicants (i.e., non-US citizens or non-resident aliens) must submit:

Language Competency

Official TOEFL, IELTS, or Pearson Test of English (PTE) Academic Score Report. Applicants whose native language is not English must show proof of language proficiency. The score report is valid for 2 years only. ETS must send a TOEFL score report to the University of Oregon, Institutional Code: 4846, Department Code 02.

IT CAN TAKE UP TO 30 DAYS FROM THE TIME OF YOUR REQUEST FOR OFFICIAL ETS SCORES TO BE AVAILABLE IN THE UO SYSTEM. PLAN YOUR REQUEST SO THAT ETS SCORES ARE AVAILABLE PRIOR TO APPLICATION DEADLINES.

Exemption. Applicants who submit transcripts proving that they have received a bachelor’s degree or higher from an accredited U.S. institution or from Australia, Canada (excluding Quebec), Ireland, New Zealand, or the United Kingdom are exempt from the language proficiency requirement.

Degree in Progress. If you are pursuing a US or other exempt degree which has not yet been awarded, please submit your most recent TOEFL score report.

LANGUAGE PROFICIENCY REQUIREMENTS (conditional admission is NOT offered)

IBT TOEFL Minimum = 96

PBT TOEFL Minimum = 600

IELTS Minimum = 7.5

PTE Academic Minimum = 66

One (1) original degree certificate if separate from transcript (submit to UO Admissions).

Interview

Once we've reviewed your application, we decide whether to interview you. If so, we will contact you to arrange for a phone interview or campus visit. If you have already made an official campus visit, another interview is usually not necessary.
