Track Philosophy
All the academic business disciplines--accounting, decision sciences (information technology, operations, statistics), finance, management (entrepreneurship, organizational behavior, strategy), and marketing (consumer behavior, strategy)--are represented among our first-rate research and teaching faculty. But our goal is not to be all things to all people. That’s why we established four curricular tracks for the Oregon MBA which correspond with the college's four centers of excellence:
Each curricular track comes with its own set of required and recommended courses in both the first and second year of your studies. These courses have been carefully selected to direct and optimize your MBA education and experience in one of four focused areas. As an Oregon MBA student, you choose one of these tracks, or you may elect the crosstrack option and take courses from more than one track.
In addition to curricular tracks, our four center's create experiential learning and networking opportunities for students. Through the centers, students work on real-world consulting projects, visit companies, travel to industry hubs, participate in speaker series, secure internships, and connect with prominent alumni and business leaders.
