Career Services

If your target employers are the big four accounting firms and their competitors (for example, KPMG, Deloitte, Moss Adams), be aware that the major recruiting season is very early in the academic year. The deadlines to apply for full-time jobs that start in June is early October. Lundquist College Career Services assists incoming MAcc students throughout the summer before they even start classes to prepare for this fast and hectic recruiting season. Smaller public accounting firms continue to recruit new grads thorough the academic year, and Career Services can help you maximize these opportunities as well.

Many MAcc students also choose to pursue careers outside public accounting. If you're more interested in working for one company and investing your professional talents to helping it achieve its goals, corporate accounting is likely going to be a good fit. Corporate recruiters have included Intel, Fred Meyer, Regence, and many others. The deadlines for these jobs occur throughout the year, and Lundquist College Career Services can help connect you with these opportunities.
