Prospective students — be sure to check out upcoming campus visit events (Duck Preview, Duck Days, and Connections) coordinated through the UO admissions offices, IntroDUCKtion (campus orientation for entering freshmen), and the UO Virtual Tour. The Lundquist College of Business also has the Duck Guides program, which tours the College of Business and provides information sessions regarding the academics, pre-business requirements, and services. Duck Guides runs through April 29 to June 7, 2013 on Mondays, Wednesdays, and Fridays at 12:45 pm or 3:45 pm (information session and tour last approx. 1 hour total). From the Eugene Airport:
Follow Highway 99 until it becomes Seventh Avenue. Get in the right lane and follow Seventh Avenue until it becomes Franklin Boulevard. Get in the right lane and follow Franklin Boulevard to Agate Street. Turn right onto Agate and right again onto Thirteenth Avenue. Proceed to the Information Kiosk.
From Portland and North:
From I-5 Southbound, take Exit 194B. Then take Exit 2, keep left and follow the signs to the University of Oregon. Proceed in the left lane over the Ferry Street Bridge, exiting onto Broadway, which becomes Franklin Boulevard. Follow Franklin Boulevard to Agate Street. Turn right onto Agate and right again onto Thirteenth Avenue. Proceed to the Information Kiosk.
From Ashland and South:
From I-5 Northbound, take Exit 192. Merge onto Franklin Boulevard. After merging, get in the left lane and follow Franklin Boulevard to Agate Street. Turn left onto Agate, then right onto Thirteenth Avenue. Proceed to the Information Kiosk.
From the Oregon Coast:
Take 126 East until it becomes West Eleventh Avenue. Follow West Eleventh Avenue to Garfield Street and turn left. Take Garfield to Seventh Avenue and turn right. Get in the right lane and follow Seventh Avenue until it becomes Franklin Boulevard. Get in the right lane and follow Franklin Boulevard to Agate Street. Turn right onto Agate and right again onto Thirteenth Avenue. Proceed to the Information Kiosk.
Travel to Eugene/UO
To arrive by airplane, you may fly into the Eugene Airport. Carriers are Horizon Air (1-800-547-9308), United Airlines & United Express (1-800-241-6522), and service from America West (1-800-235-9292). The nearest international airport is Portland International Airport. Portland's Tri-Met transit system offers light rail service, MAX, between the airport and train station.
The Amtrak Cascades serves Eugene from as far north as Vancouver, British Columbia, and passes through the major metropolitan areas of Seattle and Portland.
Once you are in Eugene, the public bus system provided by the Lane Transit District and the extensive bicycle paths and lanes offer alternatives to driving.
